PMI Electro Mobility emerged as the leader in market share, capturing a significant portion at 31.5%. Following closely behind was Olectra Greentech, securing a substantial share of 23.1%. Noteworthy contenders included Ashok Leyland’s Switch Mobility, which accounted for 19.8% of the market, and JBM Auto and Tata Motors, holding 11.8% and 6.9% respectively. The remaining market share was distributed among various smaller entities, reflecting the diverse landscape of the electric bus industry in India. Bus Falls From Flyover In Madhya Pradesh Killing 2

Two people were killed and 40 injured when a private bus fell from a flyover in Madhya Pradesh's Rajgarh district early Tuesday morning, police reported. The bus accident occurred near Pachore town around 1:30 am as the bus, carrying 55 passengers, was crossing the flyover, according to an official. The bus driver lost control, causing the vehicle to plummet to the ground below, said Akansha Sharma, in charge of the Pachore police station. Two passengers died on the spot, and 40 were injured. Of the injured, 19 sustained critical injuries and were referred to Indore for treatment, while the others are receiving care in various hospitals in Shajapur, Biora, and Pachore, the official added. One of the deceased has been identified as Harjat Singh, 28, while the identity of the other victim has yet to be determined. The bus was en route from Indore to Pichhore town in Shivpuri district. In an unexpected occurrence, a malfunctioning Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC) bus saw its front door detach and fall onto a woman riding her scooter on Tuesday evening, resulting in injuries. The incident unfolded around 8:30 pm on Jawaharlal Nehru Road near Thirumangalam.
