Source: Coach Builders India In the fiscal year 2022-23, the Indian electric bus market experienced notable growth, with a total of 1,919 electric buses sold, as reported by Coach Builders India , a India's premier platform for the bus industry. PMI Electro Mobility emerged as the leader in market share, capturing a significant portion at 31.5%. Following closely behind was Olectra Greentech, securing a substantial share of 23.1%. Noteworthy contenders included Ashok Leyland’s Switch Mobility, which accounted for 19.8% of the market, and JBM Auto and Tata Motors, holding 11.8% and 6.9% respectively. Bus Falls From Flyover In Madhya Pradesh Killing 2

Two people were killed and 40 injured when a private bus fell from a flyover in Madhya Pradesh's Rajgarh district early Tuesday morning, police reported. The bus accident occurred near Pachore town around 1:30 am as the bus, carrying 55 passengers, was crossing the flyover, according to an official. The bus driver lost control, causing the vehicle to plummet to the ground below, said Akansha Sharma, in charge of the Pachore police station. Two passengers died on the spot, and 40 were injured. Of the injured, 19 sustained critical injuries and were referred to Indore for treatment, while the others are receiving care in various hospitals in Shajapur, Biora, and Pachore, the official added. Mumbai Traffic Police Crackdown on Illegal Parking at Bus Stops: Thousands Fined

MUMBAI: In a concerted effort to address the issue of illegal parking at bus stops within the city, the traffic police undertook a targeted enforcement operation resulting in 9,658 motorists being issued fines totaling Rs 10.21 lakh.
