Police Interview Conductor Amid Mayor's Road Rage: Passenger Statements Awaited

The Cantonment police conducted an interview with the conductor present during the recent road rage incident involving Mayor Arya Raveendran and a KSRTC driver. Conductor Subin asserted no awareness of any lewd gestures from driver H L Yadhu toward the mayor, nor was he privy to the subsequent chase between the KSRTC bus and the mayor's vehicle.

According to police sources, Subin clarified that he was seated at the rear of the bus and was oblivious to the events unfolding outside. He further testified that Mayor's husband, K M Sachin Dev MLA, boarded the bus at Palayam but did not engage in any verbal altercation or coerce passengers to disembark. "The MLA's interaction with passengers was devoid of any aggression," noted an official.

Efforts are underway to gather statements from passengers present during the incident, a meticulous process expected to unfold in the forthcoming days, as confirmed by authorities.

In a separate development, actress Roshna R Roy accused the driver of exhibiting discourteous behavior and using offensive language during a previous traffic altercation in Kunnamkulam several months ago.
